No! We are not all in this together! I’m so sick (excuse the pun) of hearing “thoughts and prayers, we are all with you, we just want to say thank you, we’re all in this together!” Until you’ve spent nineteen months working in a hospital, nursing home, fire department, school system, ambulance service, city, country or state health department, doctors office, emergency department or ICU, you can all go fuck your self’s. We are definitely not “all in this together!”
Apparently, fifty percent of us in this country are living with a death wish, that’s not alright with me, because when you come to our medical doorstep, after infecting, god knows, how many vaccinated and unvaccinated human beings, then we are obligated by oath, god, talk about “oath keepers”, to take care of your preventable diseased sick assed body at our own personal risk! Everyone has a plan, or a dumb assed theory until they can’t breathe! Then! Guess what! People like me get to spend seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, putting our own lives on the line trying to save your sick ass! And as far as those of you who say all of this is infringing on your freedom and beliefs, “God will protect me,” why don’t you check out the multiple vaccines that God has provided to keep you from getting deathly ill in the first place, amen! Nineteen months ago covid was scary and we were facing a new virus that we were trying to rap our minds around and control, now it’s, for the most part, preventable, and that makes covid even more tragic! I know more people with covid now, Octorber 2021, than I did in October 2020. That is down right insane and very depressing.
February and March of 2020, had we made the collective decision to wash our hands, keep our social distance, and wear our masks, sounds like I’m taking to a bunch of second graders, think of the lives we could of saved. For those of us who knew what was about to happen when people ignored medical advice, it has become life changing and psychologically damaging to witness the family destruction and the unnecessary mass murder of our fellow man, 700,000 and counting! Yes murder, mass murder! Politicians, news networks and commentators, and internet idiots became, and still are, the hucksters propagating mass murder!
What has become of critical thinking, what has become of practical common sense, what has become of our will or obligations to protect our own families and ourselves? The most tragic line I’ve ever heard in my life is, “I wish I had taken the vaccine!” Dying alone, tubes protruding from every orifice of your body, while your loved ones try to cope with this horrific, expensive, now preventable situation, proves the premise: “No, we are not all in this together!”
