My heart has turned to stone
I just can’t feel it anymore
Nine months, no end in sight
Soldiers fighting the viral war
Standing in the ICU, no more tears
Live in the moment or die
With a flip of a switch
From caregiver to executioner
The volunteers fighting viral war
Who are the suckers and losers
