In the late 60’s Steppenwolf were out supporting Born to Be Wild, we all went to Bozeman Mt., to see John Kay rock the house. Unfortunately for them, their opening act were these flashy boys from LA named Three Dog Night, who we had never heard of, but they stole the show! #1. #2 was a show in Spokane Washington in 1972 where Leon Russell was out with Dalaney and Bonnie. Unfortunately their opening act was this new band, that had just released their first album, and we had never heard of, Eagles 🦅
