I’m a native born Montana boy. I had never heard this story, so I’m happy for your post! I wish I could tell you Montana has changed, but over the trump years Montana has again shown its true colors! The people who suffer the most now are the Native Americans! I wish I had the answers. I searched for the commander who brought about the change and could not find his name, just goes to show you! It would make a great documentary! Great but sad post, with a happy ending!
