I am so glad that you addressed this very unfortunate and sad situation. I am an Al Franken fan as a comedian and as a politician, so my view of this situation has always been that Senator Franken was crucified for the sins of others. That is not to say I felt he was a choir boy, but come on! Your post points out how trump will win a second term in office. The democrats will vindictively cut their own throats by dividing themselves on issues that we all agree on, and fight among themselves over who’s the most liberal or who’s the most middle of the road, so all trump has to do is sit back and watch the fray and laugh. The past will come back to haunt you, and for those who chose to hang Senator Franken from the yard arm, when we needed him most, will not get my contributions or my vote.
