As a hoarder, collector, boomer, and sons who don’t want any of my precious possessions and memories, I love your post. The late sixties and early seventies opened doors that had never been opened before and I have such nostalgic memories that my expensive junk is impossible for me to part with. I know I don’t have a lot of time left to enjoy my collections but somehow they bring me a little comfort.
I never thought in my lifetime I would have to consider selling or giving away the things that I have collected, but the way things are going you may get some great deals at yard sales all over the country so we don’t have to burden you with asking for money to survive! But I know what you’re saying ☮️
