I have enjoyed NBC’s coverage of the PyeongChang, South Korea’s winter games. When it’s 10 below zero outside, and you need a story to warm your heart, the olympics never seem to let you down. Over the years, from the grainy black and white TV coverage to the gloyious 4G coverage of today, things have gone through quite a change.
The events, for the most part, have been great, and enjoyable to watch, but so far my favorite part of this whole extravanza has been the freedom and new reality that NBC has brought to it’s broadcasts. You might say NBC has “come out of the closet.”
So here’s to you South Korea, here’s to you NBC, hopefully we are making progress in the process of excepting our fellow man for who they are, instead of who we want them to be.
